Mazi Nnamdi kanu stated that it was hypocrisy for those he described as innocent citizens to be in the prison, while Fulani herdsmen are being recruited in to the Nigerian Army.

In his twitter handle, the IPOB, leader said; ” Those who are worried that innocent citizens under illegal detention in Owerri were released, weren’t worried that Fulani murderous land grabbing terrorists were recruited into the @HQNigerianArmy. Such mind numbing hypocrisy is what makes #Nigeria a Zoo & a certified hell hole.”

The IPOB leader had earlier tweeted in reaction to the rising attacks by gunmen on security facilities, “No government can defeat her citizens. The citizens are their employers. You can never be stronger than your employer. He/She has the right to sack you. #Nigeria Govt with British Neo-Colonialists have killed us enough. Time for citizens to pay them back in their own coin.”
