Many Believers Don’t Know Overtaking Is Allowed

The Chairman, International Institute of Advanced Research and Training, Professor Philip Njamanze, has faulted the claim of Covid-19 spread in the country, saying it is not possible.

Professor Philip Njamanze said, the humidity of the country cannot allow Covid-19 spread, stating that Covid can only spread in countries with low humidity and not a country like Nigeria.

Professor Philip Njamanze statement is contrary to predictions from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, and National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, that there may be third wave of Covid-19.

While disagreeing with the health agencies, Professor Philip Njamanze, said vaccination, should not be made must in the country, stating, that only health workers, and those who have international engagements, should be made to vaccinate, because of possible risk of exposure.

International Institute of Advanced Research and Training Chairman, also disagreed with NCDC and Presidential Task force on Covid-19, on declaring lockdown, stating, that such actions are not good for the country, not only because, it will avoidably affect the economy, it will also, give rise to possible spread of the virus, as people will be made to compound in their homes.

Professor Philip Njamanze, disclosed this on Wednesday, during a live programm, Sunrise Daily, on Channels Television, which was monitored by Nationalwatchng.

Professor Philip Njamanze maintained, the Federal government and its health agencies must be truthful with Nigerians on the true nature of Covid-19.

Responding to Professor Njamanze, the NAFDAC Director-General Professor Mojisola Adeyeye, said  positions of Prof. Njamanze is logical than medical, stating the different variants of Covid-19, requires that all Nigerians take the vaccine for safety.

Recall that many countries, including, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Austria and about 8 other countries of the world have suspended, the use of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, which is suspected may be contributing to blood clothing among Covid-19 patience.

However, despite the suspension on the usage of AstraZenesca, by world countries, Nigeria Ministry of Health, NCDC and NAFDAC, have maintained that the vaccine is safe.
