Killing Of Fulani’s, Not Heroic Act – Chief Fani Kayode

Formal Minister of Aviation, and Culture and Tourism, Chief Femi Fani Kayode, has condemned the killing of six Fulani family in Osun state,stating that peaceful Fulani’s are not threat to any community.

 

Chief Kayode also said he has no apology for those who are attacking him for condemning the killing, stating that hate and emotion has beclouded their sense of judgement.

The political activist and Peoples Democratic Party stalwart said why he supports killing of criminal and AK-47 carrying Fulani’s, the peaceful ones should be allowed to do their businesses in any part of the country.

In a statement on Monday, Fani Kayode said, killing of any Nigerian on the bases of tribe or ethnicity should be condemner by all Nigerians.

He said, “I make no apology for saying it was wrong to kill an INNOCENT & DEFENCELESS Fulani family of 6 in Osun. Those that condemn me for saying this are worse than animals. You CANNOT justify the murder of INNOCENTS under ANY circumstances &being Fulani should not be a death sentence.

“We must not lose our sense of decency& humanity & we must not let our emotions becloud our better judgement.I support the killing of TERRORISTS (Fulani or otherwise) but I REFUSE to support the killing of innocent& defenceless people, including women & children.

 

“Regardless.of their tribe or faith and whether they are Fulani, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw or anything else. We can kill those who attack us but we must protect those who choose to live in peace with us. The killing of innocents can never be described or deemed as a heroic act.”

Recall that a Fulani family of six was reportedly killed on Saturday,in Wasinmi in Irewole Local Government Area of Osun state, by unknown gunmen.
