SIPHOSAKHE NTIYA-NTIYA

Ntiya-Ntiya had a promising future until Gavin Hunt came in and made him a benchwarmer at the start of the last season.

There are already rumours that Ntiya-Ntiya is on his way out the club, and Baxter could agree with the decision to let him go given his preference for defenders.

KGOTSO MOLEKO

Moleko may have already hinted that he is leaving Chiefs after nine years, and it remains unclear if he has indeed made that decision.

But looking at his nine years at Chiefs, Moleko wasn’t consistent enough to cement a regular place in the Chiefs starting line-up.

This past season also saw him struggle with injuries and personal stuff which led to his lack of game time under Hunt.

LAZAROUS KAMBOLE

Kambole joined Chiefs in 2019, and there were high expectations that he would score goals for the club but that hasn’t been the case.

He has managed just a single goal since his arrival, and that alone says a lot about him as a striker.

Of course, Kambole admitted that he was often played out of position by Hunt but still, he hasn’t done enough to deserve to stay at Chiefs.

ANTHONY AKUMU

Akumu was also a highly-rated midfielder when he arrived at Chiefs during Ernst Middendorp’s tenure as head coach.

However, he has hardly impressed since joining the club, especially in midfield where Chiefs have struggled to fill the void left by George Maluleka.

While his height and stature may fit Baxter’s way of playing, Akumu hasn’t proved to be better than any of the Chiefs players in his position.

DUMISANI ZUMA

Zuma is loved by the majority of Chiefs supporters but has he done enough since arriving at Chiefs four seasons ago?

That’s the question the Chiefs management should ask themselves when deciding if the midfielder really deserves to be kept.

Injuries haven’t been kind to Zuma, and for that reason, his progress has been hampered badly. As things stand, the former Bloemfontein Celtic star is only expected back in September 2021.
