The people from the Eastern part of the country are expected to get the highest cut off marks, why are they not the most in public service? Aren’t we supposed to put our best feet forward?

These were the questions of a Human Rights Activist, Bring Back Our Girls Co-Convener, Aisha Yesufu as has laments the decay in the countries public service, as a result of quota system, tribalism, ethnicity and the place of religious favouritism in appointment of public servants and civil servants in the country.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari has been criticized as the most tribal in appointment of public servants, action his critics describe as the reason for the underdevelopment of the country.

Media spokespersons of the president, have in defence said that the President Muhammadu Buhari are appointing those he know, and he can trust.

But Experts, have condemned such appointments, which they blamed as the cause of Nigeria’s woeful performance in all Human Index Indices.

In the video posted on her twitter account, Aisha Yesufu, a strong critic of President Buhari government said, since the Igbos are expected to get the highest score in all examinations in the country, why should they be denied the rightful position of occupying best positions in the country’s public service.

“The people from the Eastern part of the country are expected to get the highest cut off marks, why are they not the most in public service? Aren’t we supposed to put our best feet forward?” Aisha Yesufu tweeted.
