

Nationalwatchng reports that the released school girls of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe was kidnapped on 26, February, at the wee hours of 1 am, according to local sources.
The sources, escaped students of Jangebe, who narrated the ordeal, told Daily Trust that among the kidnappers were women, who while capturing the students made a call to their undisclosed source and leader, who understands the terrain, informing him , that they have gained entrance in to the school, and are gathering the students.
The above was revealed by a student who said she hid into double bunk bed.
Official government figure released, stated that the number of students abducted by the bandits were 317, and they are all girls and students of the school Government Girls Secondary School Jangebe, Gusau local government of Zamfara State.
However speaking to newsmen on welcoming the girls, the governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle stated that the 317, the state government had earlier said, was a mistake, that the actual figure of the abducted school girls of Jangebe was 279, and this was the number of girls the bandits released.
Nationalwatchng, recalls that the government of Zamfara had said on 26 Friday, while giving official statement, it has investigated and found out that the actual number of students kidnapped were 317.
The governor Bello Matawalle on Tuesday morning refused to disclose the condition of the girls release, and how the state government could make a mistake of adding 38 girls as mistake, to the number of abducted girls.
Gov. Bello Matawalle disclosed again on Tuesday morning on welcoming the students that the state government used kinetic and non-kinetic methods to secure the release of the 279 school girls of Jangebe.
He further disclosed that, there are some unnamed person who paid the bandits money not to release the abducted school girls, stating that he will disclose them at the right time.

Nationalwatchng had reported a video obtained by Daily trust, where bandits who alleged to be the ones operating in Zamfara, claimed they are been sponsored to the amount N200 thousand, by politicians in the North.
Gov. Matawalle believes in granting amnesty to the bandits, as a way of stopping banditry.
Nationawatchng had reported that the governor, after a meeting with President Muhammdu Buhari, on 17 February, the day some bandits abducted 42 boys and teachers of Government Science College Kagara, Niger State, while addressing State House Correspondents, said amnesty to the bandits was solution, stating he is implementing it in his state.

He further said he had advised the Niger State governor, Abubakar Bello, to grant amnesty to the bandits.
With the above revelations surrounding the abduction and release of the Jangebe school girls, could Bello Matawalle have made a mistake in declaring that 317 students were kidnapped, instead of 279.
Nationalwatchng follows and awaits further revelation, the governor will make on the unnamed sources who were giving the bandits money not to release the abducted students.
