Bandits Demand N100m For Three Abducted Sisters In Kogi

Bandits who reportedly kidnapped three sisters, on Tuesday  in Eteh-Okofi community in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State, are demanding for a ransom fee of N100 million to release their victims.


A family member of the three girls, who were kidnapped while sleeping in their room, said the bandits contacted them in the early morning of Wednesday (today), demanding a ransom of N100 million.

While lamenting that the family cannot provide such amount, in tears, the family member in anonymity disclosed, that the bandits, at the wee hour of about 12:45 am on Tuesday, heavily armed, entered their compound and headed straight to the room of the girls.

He said on noticing the strange movement into their compound, he rushed out, only to behold the bandits, who were heavily armed, and having his sisters.


He further disclosed that the bandits immediately opened fire to disperse any attack on them.


When contacted the local government Chairman of  Kogi Local Government Area, Alhaji Isah Abdulkarim, who confirmed the abduction of the three sisters, however said he cannot confirm the ransom being demanded.
