Eyewitnesses present during the fatal shooting of Johannesburg anaesthetist, Dr Abdulhay Munshi have begin to offer their side of the story.
The police is yet to offer the general public full details of the brutal murder of Dr Munshi who was shot dead on Wednesday but eyewitnesses claimed that the shooting was intentional.

An grove resident, who was watching TV as at the time of shooting said he heard multiple gunshots.
“It was quick succession… bang bang then bang bang and bang bang.”
“I hunt and know gunshots going off. it had been with purpose. it had been aggressive.”
“You can hear when someone is shooting with purpose or panic and there was nothing panicky that shooter.”
Some eyewitnesses took to social media accounts and stated that the perpetrators rear-ended Munshi’s vehicle and when he got bent inspect the damage, they shot him.
Another witness, Gregor Chaukw, a hard hat said he was mixing cement at a house next to the intersection when he heard the gunshots.
“There were two then another two. it had been scary. I dropped everything and ran with the opposite workers to the rear of the house.”
They later came out once they realized it had been safe to.
“There were people screaming. you’ll see the person dying. it had been horrible.”
No detailed report from the police are released yet.
Brig Mathapelo Peters said “police are at this stage not at liberty to disclose or confirm the deceased’s identity. The motive for the shooting is yet to be determined.”
