The president told the SA National Editors’ Forum (Sanef) last week that the govt was consulting several bodies on the simplest time to relax the lockdown.
He said the govt is considering relaxing a number of the lockdown regulations which translates to the very fact that SA could move to subsequent less stricter level.
The tourism sector has been one among those sectors negatively suffering from the lockdown.
Even after the govt implemented level 2 lockdown, the world was still not fully balanced because foreigners outside SA were unable to patronize the world .
This is thanks to fears that travellers from outside the country could spur on a second wave of infections.
Tourism SA CEO Sisa Ntshona said that they weren’t expecting an influx once the border regulations were eased.
