On Sunday, the Western Cape government said key aspects of the education system are monitored closely for a short time now.

 

The key aspects is required to successfully land up with the rest of the tutorial year.

Officials said the attendance for grade 7s and 12s pupils improved immensely from its previous state at the start of June.

These details were provided after an oral question to Education MEC Debbie Schäfer.

Lorraine Botha, who may be a member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL) said there has been a coffee attendance rate among grade 4 and 10 pupils.

“The increasing rate of attendance are often attributed to the decrease in COVID-19 infections and reduced levels of hysteria ,” Botha said.

However, Botha has beckoned on pupils to stay up with the diligence because the academic year involves an in depth soon.

“There are 14 weeks left of the 2020 school year and with the character of the mandatory phased in approached, contact time is dramatically reduced thanks to alternating attendance of grades,” she said.
