COVID-19 in SA: 1,990 new cases reported

On Wednesday, the health department reported the newest COVID-19 cases.

Dr Zweli Mkhize, Health Minister said they’ve identified 1,990 new cases.

In South Africa , 642,431 COVID-19 cases are confirmed.

Moreover, the health department have also recorded 82 COVID-19 related deaths within the past 24 hours.

Gauteng recorded the very best number of deaths, with a record of 27 deaths, KwaZulu-Natal and North West both recorded 10 deaths, Free State recorded 8 deaths and Eastern Cape recorded the smallest amount , with 5 deaths.

As it stands now, the entire price has gotten to fifteen ,168.

However, the recovery rate stands at 88.7 percent. Since the last report, a complete of 21,736 new tests are conducted.
