Bara doctors have resumed to figure , following the conclusion of a protest at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Soweto over protective gear.

Nurses complained about the limited resources that they had and not provided enough masks and protective gowns within the hospital.

This was attended to after occupational health and safety committee members intervened.

The hospitals’s supply chain head refused to form her statement concerning the matter and blamed it on her inability to be at work.

Clement Marula from Nehawu said nurses were initially informed that full PPE would only tend to nurses who add COVID-19 ward and nurses in other departments would only make use of masks and plastic aprons.

Marula further said the nurses have now been fully equipped and have gotten back to figure .
