EFF has opened a criminal case against a 52-year-old gray-haired woman seen during a viral video pointing a gun at EFF members protesting outside a Clicks store during a mall in Port Elizabeth.
The argument between the protesters and therefore the woman happened within the Walmer Palk plaza at 10:30am on Tuesday.
The incident was recorded by a client whose identity isn’t disclosed.
When Walmer police need to the scene, they immediately arrested the gray- haired woman and therefore the EFF members.
At the Walmer police headquarters , the 2 parties refused to open cases against one another .
However, consistent with Port Elizabeth police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu, the EFF party members returned to the police headquarters around 15:00 to open a case of pointing a firearm against the lady .
Naidu disclosed that the case remains under investigation and nobody has been arrested thus far .

Walmer Park plaza manager Leonie Scheepers explained that the heated argument started when the lady was found filming the protesters who were wearing EFF T-shirts outside Clicks store.
“Centre Security personnel approached her and requested that she cease videoing.”
“She ignored this request, then confronted the one that seemed to be the leader of the group [EFF].”
“An altercation ensued. During the altercation, the customer took out a firearm and pointed it at the group,” said Scheepers.
He said the mall’s security and police are on high alert because the protest against Clicks remains ongoing.
He added that Clicks store has been closed until further notice.
