Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker who represented Kaduna central senatorial district within the 8th Assembly, has advised haters of massive Brother Naija (BBNaija) to prevent watching the truth television program .
In a post on his Twitter page on Sunday, Shehu Sani advised that it had been better to remain faraway from the channels showing the programme than to condemn and attack after watching.
“Some elders approach to #BBNaija is to observe and attack, watch and condemn rather than to not watch in the least ,” he advised.
Today Naija News reports that the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had kicked against the continued reality show, describing it as evil.
CAN called on well-meaning Nigerians to hitch within the protest against the show.
CAN said: “As Christians this, this ceremony is aimed toward promoting diligence and reinvigorating a positive lifestyle and collectively making our state better.
“A state where tribe, creed, party and church don’t matter within the scheme of things but a state where equity, equality, qualification, truth and diligence are necessary criteria and conditions for justice.
“Promotion and appointment altogether fields of life where reward and good morals will encourage everyone to abhor evil and do what’s right. Romans 12:9.
“All these are needed to exchange what we’ve in our world today where societal ills, crimes and immoral behaviours are geometrically increasing thanks to bad governance, poverty and reward for wrong doing, like Big Brother Naija.
“I want to stress Big Brother Naija because all folks need to fight collectively to prevent this immoral act and injustice in our land, as Christians and Africans, we’ve respect for mankind.”
