Mzansi rapper Zakwe has reportedly hinted that he’s quitting vernac rap.
The star, who raps mostly in Zulu, wants to spit in English from now on.
The move by the musician is aimed toward gaining more fan base so as to succeed in his first gold status in his 10 years within the cut-throat music industry.
However, Zakwe is currently performing on a replacement album after his last project titled Cebisa.
He expressed how he desperately wanted the album to travel gold. It consisted of the hit track Sebentini, during which he featured Cassper Nyovest.
Nevertheless, Zakwe will from now on be quitting vernac rap and go strictly English.
It might be added that the rapper has recognized that if he also raps strictly English, he are going to be ready to crack open the international hip-hop market.
